Royall are not a ‘CV search and send agency’; we do not charge the same and we pride ourselves on not being the rest to deliver CV’s. We have honed an impressive 321 model, 3 talent submissions, 2 second interviews, 1 appointment, at a competitive charge rate for a far greater, deeper relationship and service.

A CV does not just secure an interview it channels the conversations our clients and talent have. A job specification is a HR and management tool it is not how to attract, engage or retain the people that power your business, within the communications world. Humans require more than that! Royall don’t just collect candidates’ names and CVs, only dusting them off , after a key word search, or when an opportunity becomes available (what we call operating a ‘one size fits all’ approach).

Rather, we ensure every interaction we have and every relationship we foster, is unique and personal, committed and for the longer term. The last thing we do is advise our talent to look for a ‘job’. The ‘first’ thing we do is ask them to look at themselves. Who do they want to be? How do they want to live? What do they want to achieve? What is their ‘Passion’, ‘Purpose’ and ‘Promise’.

Jennifer Royall

Jenny has worked on both sides of the fence rising through the client side with operational roles in marketing, communications and management then taking that experience and client needs awareness to start Royall in 2009.

Since then, Jenny has used her skills as a natural motivator and tireless desire to embrace the best technology and innovations to develop Royall into a recruitment consultancy whose sole focus is to deliver long-term career and business success for clients and candidates.

When Jenny is not working she enjoys life with husband Phil, son Thomas, Fuzz the dog and has ambitions to live the country life with Land Rover, horses and chickens.

Susan Tarver
Managing Director

Susan is Royall’s resident Kirsty Allsop doppelganger! A combination of cheeky thespian and successful working mother of three grown children with a degree in Theology Susan is an experienced recruitment professional. A highly articulate and established senior consultant with an enviable recruitment background spanning many years.

Susan is an exceptional team builder, a skill that adds value internally and with clients. Her ability to spot talent and create synergy with people and groups ensures the best outcomes for our clients and for Royall. This skill will be instrumental in delivering new, innovative cutting-edge products and services currently being introduced.

Hannah Farrands
Senior Relationship Manager

Hannah joined Royall 6 months after inception as PA to Jenny and organising much of the back-office functions of the company. She epitomises the Royall brand quality of being fully engaged in the business by bringing her considerable creative flair into the Royall marketing and comms during those early days. The combination of her creative skills and a driven team has been instrumental in achieving the impressive growth throughout that period.

More recently, Hannah has excelled as a key player in the client relationship team. She is bringing her extensive pre-Royall experience as a Senior Branch Manager to the fore and will soon be taking a management role as Royall enters a new phase of growth and extends new innovative products and services to clients and candidates.

At home Hannah’s creativity and Fine Art Degree spills over into her love of cooking and home life with husband Adam and children Milly and Harry!

With a huge smile on my face, I am thrilled to be the new ‘Director of First Impressions’ at Royall, a specialist events and communications recruitment company, set above and apart from any other. Royall is led by three successful and brilliant business women. They make it their mission to seek out talented and passionate individuals and place them in the industry that best suits them. Their knowledge and expertise across the board is second to none; whilst delivering a professional, honest and trusted service for their clients. Success really is a people thing and where there is talent, passion and commitment you will always get success!

I bring to Royall two years of events experience; from my previous job; working with a famous, luxury, lifestyle and venue and events brand. With my expertise, I can contribute to a hungry business by providing excellence in customer services. In addition to many responsibilities, I will have the privilege of being an Executive Assistant to Jenny and her management team, a role which I shall embrace with open arms. I believe a ‘can do’ attitude, infectious personality and a passion for what you love and believe in means what you do every day, is far from ‘work’.

Responsible for: Recruitment Administration, Marketing and Brand Development, Digital, Social Media, PR & Advertising, PA duties, Project Support, Ad-hoc duties.

Greg Horne
Chief Technology Officer

Greg is an expert, senior IT Leader with extensive experience leading world-class multi-disciplined teams to develop and implement multiple IT strategies, products, architecture and process re-engineering projects. Commercially astute agent of change with an outstanding record of shaping and driving efficiencies within complex global organisations and business start-ups. Proven record delivering strategic technology projects concurrently, business integrations and the transition of service delivery. Well-honed analytical, presentation, senior management and technical (development, infrastructure, hosting, databases and security) skills allied with ability to maintain productive relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Built strong working relationships with many multi-disciplined expert resources, both onshore and offshore UK. This guarantees maximum benefit to our clients when delivering IT projects, whilst I provision independent expert management and a transparent procurement framework.

• Working best as a CTO, CIO, IT Director, Software Development Director, IT Operations Director or Head of IT and also a Bespoke Software Specialist.

Greg supports us to ensure we are at the cutting edge of Technology with our Client Relationship Management systems, technological infrastructure and his specialties lie in Leadership & Management, Business Analysis, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing and Program Management.

Creative Director

Creative Directors with first class experience of leading multi-million pound creative experiential strategic plans for the world’s best brands.

Our consultants have varying backgrounds and talents depending on your Employer Brand needs. Our CD for example gets how you take a brand and give them an experiential life. He has achieved this with some of the biggest global brands. He has event mantras; A good event starts at the end not at the start, because a good event changes behaviours and creates a legacy. A good event creates advocates, Brand Advocates, and with them you can create what he calls 'passionates' To change behaviours, we need to create passionates! This is how Royall feel about our Talent and your Talent!!

After being a highly successful Executive Producer, cutting his teeth at the BBC on events such as Live Aid and the Athens Olympics the flame went out with delivery. He joined Jack Morton (who he worked with in Athens) and discovered changing behaviours via brand messaging was more exciting than putting stages and lights up and often write white papers for them. So I started as an Experiential planning with the Nokia Account. The rest is history. Now working with global agencies on major brands such as Red Bull, Porsche, Coca-Cola and Virgin he’s ready for new challenges and am passionate about excellent recruitment and developing Employer Brand to really raise brands in the industry we serve. He hold hands, consult, design, create and plan. He can give keynotes on Brand Love - Brand Hate and spend a lot of time advising boutique and major agencies on creative direction.
