You have probably been looking elsewhere and haven’t found what you are looking for.
A revolution is happening in the recruitment industry – led by the charismatic Jennifer royall, founder of royall. Lesson number 1 in recruiting is: hire the brightest, smartest, people you can afford; lesson number 2: make sure their brand values and behaviours are aligned to your company brand and attributes; lesson number 3: stretch, develop and trust your people putting in place clear objectives and incentives to empower them to achieve these mutually defined goals. royall is demanding we live up to these principles by putting in place a recruitment process that attracts, engages and retains the best candidates with the right human fit for your organisation. Can you afford not to talk to them?
If you’ve been looking elsewhere and haven’t found what you are looking for, then welcome… and look no further.
It’s not about a ‘job’ – it’s about having a clearly defined career path that gives you the lifestyle you want and deserve… and that will only come if you talk to us.
royall only works with the most dynamic and enlightened employers, who are looking for sustained engagement from key talent. We are unique in being able to identify this in people like you and bringing it to the fore.
Let us help you become engaged and plan the best career of your life.
Our pool of candidates all have the following qualities:
Traditional recruitment doesn’t attract the right or the best people and the industry is fundamentally awed and archaic. The biggest and best brands face tough competition for the best talent; yet companies are stuck with the same recruitment practices they were using 10 years ago. Our industry has evolved, talent has evolved. They are brand savvy and EVP smart, they are goal orientated and expect the employers to be as well. All areas have evolved accept recruitment, and ultimately people are expected to drive businesses and power success. More often than not they are either in the wrong position, or going to work with energy they do not use.
Recruitments processes cast the net wide; use multiple ‘suppliers’ and ‘recruitment consultants’ who are effectively junior ‘sales people’, resourcers or clerical administrators. They are rarely experienced, mature, business and recruitment professionals and consultants need to prove their value and demonstrate effective cause of engagement to attract, engage and help retain best talent – and especially tomorrow’s leaders. Hiring managers are still expected to trawl through stacks of CV’s, which have not been developed properly, so they may secure an interview, but they will not channel the conversations effectively.
Talent are still not being exited interviewed when they leave and thus job descriptions are not accurate, and people are appointment only to find out they have been miss-represented the role, or worse they are too in/experienced and therefore over-challenged and fail, thus let go, or, unfulfilled and leave. Conducting rounds and rounds of interviews, with the wrong people or cultural fit.
HR and recruitment remain separate from the branding team, so there is little guarantee the chose talent, will be a good fit. Are they an engine and driving force, or simply a spanner performing a basic function and turning cogs? Mistakes are very expensive.
Engaging remarkable talent requires more than sifting CV’s and ticking boxes.
The best people will power your brand to channel a ‘movement’, because it matches their own brand, what they think, believe in and do.
By using tools and techniques that help you recruit from Human Fit you can;
Having a great employer brand is essential. How else can potential talent and employees get a real flavour of a business; in a way which is attractive to them, and which is reflective of a commercial proposition whilst telling them all they need to know about environment, culture, purpose, values and the employee experience? Engaging with and communicating with employees, talent, and external partners to paint the best picture as a brand and employer of choice. It should genuinely represent a business, their values and employee value proposition.
STEP 1 MEASURE – What you offer versus what your employees really want
STEP 2 SPECIFY – The EVP; specific employee groups have specific needs
STEP 3 – Communicate all your offerings to your employees (and potential employees); reflect the reality
STEP 4 LOOK AHEAD – 3-year plan to anticipate the future needs of employees and potential employees.
Now is the right time for clients to:
This keeps their skills and investment within the company rather than lose them to a competitor.
“WRG is a live communications agency with ambitious growth plans. New to the Events industry, I found the industry knowledge that Jen and her team provided extremely helpful. They demonstrate great enthusiasm and tenacity when seeking the perfect candidates for us.
They always take a thorough and accurate brief and only send us high quality, suitable candidates, thereby reducing the need for extended shortlisting sessions. They show remarkable patience when we are hard to track down and it is an absolute pleasure to working with royall.”
Margaret Lawless – HR Consultant
We’re here to plan the lifestyle you want so you get the balance you deserve.
We only work with dynamic employers who are enlightened to the fact that the ‘cream’ of the talent out there is looking for life fulfilment and not a ‘job’.
The best talent (we only work with them too) see their work as an extension of their lifestyle and we place the same importance in their personal fulfilment at work as we do our clients’ successes.
They want to be fully engaged with their employers and play a key part in the success of that organisation. In return, they want to work in an environment where they are appreciated, supported and respected.
“Having spent more years than a man should admit working within the same organisation, it can be hard to gauge your value and experience when it comes to working in the outside world. That was the challenge that faces me after 24 years working at Imagination. I can’t even remember how I came into contact with royall for the first time, it’s as if they have always been there for me, every step of the way and not always with recruitment. Supporting, advising and always on the look out for the perfect opportunity and the right fit as the next step in my career journey.
The royall’s team passion, engagement, enthusiasm knowledge and understanding of the events industry is second to none. More than recruitment they offer careers development and advice that always result in a fantastic fit for employer and employee. Jen and her team have become not only a trusted adviser and confidant, but also a close friends too.”
