Our Event Agency client is looking for an exceptional, energetic and flexible experiential project manager to be placed client side with one of their key financial services clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring successful planning, execution and measurement of clients’ event portfolio.

Responsibilities 

  • Assume a key role in delivering on the Agencies SLA by providing consultation and superior project management services directly to Clients while based day-to-day in the Firms office locations
  • Deliver a consistently exceptional service to Clients through excellent project management and each and every interaction with the Firms employees
  • Deliver events which are world-class and that exceed Clients’ expectations
  • Independent PM responsible for the planning and execution of multiple key events including a wide range of small scale and more complex proprietary, hosted and third party events including but not limited to training, panels, receptions, trade shows, conferences etc.
  • Manage some or all aspects of the event operation (depending on size and complexity of the project), from initial briefing to reconciliation incorporating production, vendor negotiation, event contract procedures, logistics and audience management
  • Maintain Client liaison and ensure SLA’s are monitored and account and project level KPI's are achieved throughout the event planning process
  • Provides event level strategy guidance by leveraging program strategy insights, best practices and tools
  • Ensures compliance to budget, expenses and reconciliations on a per event basis
  • Create and closely monitor value adds at every opportunity by delivering best practice, ideas and actions, integrating event activity with other sales/marketing/product team priorities to drive consistent brand messaging / integrity across campaign structure
  • Be proactive with ideas and creative solutions
  • Works collaboratively with internal teams such as creative agency, security, facilities, marketing, catering and a/v to co-ordinate onsite events
  • Constantly seeking new and innovative marketing ideas to add agency value to the clients planning. Infusing customised, creative out of the box ideas and solutions for events.
  • Domestic and international travel as require

 

Experience Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in event / experiential planning with a global company environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced project management skills, including: budget creation, management and reconciliation
  • Experience of utilizing technology, digital and social media tactics into events. Technology industry interest and understanding is a plus
  • Excellent supplier knowledge and negotiating skills
  • A good/advanced working knowledge of the MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to suggest and enhance functionality on event management / tracking systems
  • Must have a strong understanding of social media networks
  • Highly organized–ability to handle multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent time management and multi‐tasking skill
