This candidates expertise is undoubtedly in her ability to manage a range of international events, from conferences, award dinners, product launches, roadshows, and networking events, both live and virtual, and this has seen her managing budgets of up to £500k and working on mid to large events, with up to 3,000 delegates. In her current role, she has been involved in content development and the running and logistical elements of the large events she is working on. Her role regularly sees her working closely with clients and hosting client meetings, in addition to working closely with supplier’s and speakers and providing guidance in terms of content and best practice across the projects. In terms of sector, she works significantly with corporate and government clients in her role, and technology clients and investment organisations are also very typical.

In terms of client base, she works with a range of clients, from technology clients through to large retail brands. This candidate also works with a number of luxury brands and has worked with automotive clients in the past. Budget wise, she is used to regularly working on projects around the £200k to £400k mark. A natural empath and team player, she enjoys the interaction she has with her clients, and she regularly leads meetings, and very much identifies and brings about solutions throughout the delivery process. This candidate also enjoys the early stages of the event process, and regularly pitches to stakeholders, drawing in the expertise within the team. Before her current role, she was a Senior Account Manager within a small event company. This role saw her driving growth within the business, and she ran a range of key networking events for her clients which included a global agency, and the role saw her sourcing a new agency account within another event agency.
In her past role, where she worked for 3 years, she was a Senior Account Manager, this position saw her working across mainly corporate events. The environment was structured, and her role saw her delivering conferences and team building events. Within her role, she managed a small team, and she led project management for both internal and external suppliers, and in addition to collaborating with internal departments to drive revenue and managing suppliers. Before this, she worked for another creative agency, where she project managed a large number of events in addition to forging relationships with a number of clients. Classic events included a financial services client 50th Anniversary party, which saw her co-ordinating a range of 7 events, all within different locations, with over 9000 attendees in total, and this complex series of events, required significant focus and attention to deal, in addition to requiring her to be versatile. A highly impressive Event Manager, a graduate with first class honours degree, and who has worked within the events sector since leaving university. Having initially joined an event agency as an Events Co Ordinator, in 2021, she was quickly promoted to an Events Manager/Account Manager position where she was actively involved in working across a range of complex events globally. Many of her events were for the agency’s key client, a technology client, and she was involved in project managing conferences, meetings, launches and a range of internal meetings. These were predominately B 2 B and most of them live events, with some virtual events in the mix. This candidates role saw her as the key point of contact for clients and also for a range of suppliers, and she was actively involved in the briefing from clients, through to executing the events within the team, managing budgets, and regularly hosting client meetings. This fast moving and demanding role, saw her hone her natural skills for being an effective organiser, and someone who is an out and out team player, and always ready to step up to the mark, and deal with and resolve any situations.
More recently, this candidate has joined an event agency as an Experiential and Events Manager, where she has responsibility for managing many larger events, across Europe, and this sees her undertaking end to end event management, from client brief, delivery through to reconciliation. Budgets across the projects vary, but typically are around the £400k mark, and delegate numbers can be small for meetings, through to circa 1.200 for larger events. The pharmaceutical events vary, from congresses and symposiums, through to investigator meetings and large-scale conferences, and advisory boards. An impressive events candidate with 5 years’ experience within events, a number of which have been working within agencies, so she comes with an excellent grounding, which saw her degree in International Events Management as the ideal forerunner. She has also worked with a number of technology clients within her roles. Most recently, she has worked as a contractor, as an Event Co Ordinator, where she has been based since May, and she was working across a large-scale Biannual Conference with around 1400 attendees. The role saw her managing stakeholder relationships and working with suppliers throughout this complex event. Prior to this, this candidate worked for a large event organiser, as a contract Conference Planner for 18 months, and the role involved her planning and project managing several summit and forum events globally, with, in some cases, up to 2000 attendees. She was actively working on the logistics of the conferences, alongside the end-to-end management of the events, regularly attending site as required. This role also gave her exposure to managing a budget of circa £200k. The position enabled her to establish strong working relationships with a range of suppliers and internal colleagues. The tendency was to work across multiple projects, with, in some cases, conferences taking place weekly, so attention to detail and working effectively and quickly were key attributes of her role. This candidate would regularly hold calls with exhibitor and speakers, and she had a close relationship with colleagues in the small team.
Before this, she worked for a well-regarded agency, where she was a Digital Event Manager, supporting a high profile technology client. Events were virtual and ranged from 50 to 2000 attendees, depending on the event. The role gave her the opportunity to gain a strong working knowledge of running a range of digital events, regularly working with software engineers, and the position saw her trouble shooting to ensure the smooth-running events, and it developed her knowledge and confidence as a result.
